Meet the real Stretch
Stretch the Dog is named after my real-life dog, Stretch. You can’t tell from this photo, but he had short legs, a long body, and the most unique markings—I never knew his breed or where those markings came from. What I do know is that he inspired me to start creating dog-themed cards. Though he’s no longer with me, his playful, loving spirit lives on in my work. He was the sweetest, silliest, and most loyal dog I’ve ever known, and I miss him every day.
